A rich and nourishing cleanser in a base of cold-pressed, organic, unrefined oils that dissolve typical buildup from dirt and makeup. Once rinsed off, you are left with clean skin that’s incredibly soft.

Elevated with a whole herb infusion from both our garden and small farm-harvested lemon balm, lavender, and heal-all. Working together to deeply clean pores, calm redness, balance skin flora, and enhance protection from environmental factors.

A mild dispersing agent is added to emulsify the oil on contact with water to easily rinse and wipe away the debris from the skin using a soft cloth. The dilution is low to ensure that it does not also dissolve your precious natural oils.

Scent: The aroma is naturally derived from a potent herbal extraction process so it varies from batch to batch. Normally lemon balm and/or lavender are the most present. No added essential oils.

Skin Types: Formulated for most skin types, including dry and sensitive skin.

Texture: Mid-weight, green colored oil with good slip and little bit of cushion.

Slight formula adjustment as of July 2023, see the Ingredients section for details. The most notable change is to replace pumpkin seed oil with acai fruit oil.

Ritual

Use a quarter-size amount of cleanser on dry skin. Massage for 30-60 seconds, focusing on areas that are congested. Add water and massage again to create a light milky emulsion for 15 seconds. Rinse well with lukewarm water and gently wipe away excess with a clean, damp cloth.
It can be used alone as a single cleanser or as a pre-cleanse followed by the Gentle Cleansing Gel.

Complete the Routine

Developed to be used with an Elixir to maintain the proper pH, enhance the cleansing experience and support better absorption of facial oils and serums.  To use, saturate a cotton pad and sweep the skin.

Redness prone, dry and sensitive skin: Radiance Elixir

Excess oil production and active breakouts: Fresh Complexion Clarifying Elixir

A great oil cleanser for reactive skin

I love an oil cleanse but with only one or two excpetions find that all of the cleansers out there are full of essential oils which my skin does not react well too (sensitive to the mint family so lavender, mint or lemongrass scents tend to give me contact dermititis). The oil and gel cleanser combined smell so fresh and pretty but they don't contain a unneeded essential oils. Cleans great, calms my skin and NO irritation. Such a soothing experience to use.

Great Cleanser for AM and PM

This cleanser is a repeated purchase for me. Well formulated, not heavy, rinses off completely and has a mild scent. Wonderful with makeup and sunscreen removal. I was hesitant to use it at first because of my oily T-zone, but the formula rinses off well; I follow-up with a warm facecloth, leaving my skin feeling balanced. Most evenings I use it a first cleanse, so I don't need much of a second cleanser for skin treatment prep. I really appreciate this product!

Still my #1

I’ve been using this cleansing oil for years and have yet to find anything that compares. An anecdotal story: I keep my cleansing oil in the shower and my kids thought it would be fun to put water in the (half full) bottle, essentially ruining it. I came to repurchase but it was available for preorder only. I decided to wait a little bit and just get by on my other brand cream cleanser. I finally got another bottle and let me tell you the difference in my skin! I had done the same routine, just sans cleansing oil, and my pores got so clogged and noticeable. I actually had a mini crisis, not understanding just how key to my overall skincare this product is. Never stop making this cleansing oil and I will always repurchase, as well as tell everyone who will listen just how smashing this product is!
