What is your return policy?

We do not offer refunds/returns due to the artisan nature of our products. Our tiny overhead and small markups allows us to keep product prices low in relation to the organic, ethically sourced, and higher end ingredients we source plus the labor of producing everything by hand. This creates a lower barrier of entry for full size products for ongoing use.
We now carry mini trial sizes to see how a product could work for you. Choose the mini size from each product page.
What is your cancellation fee policy?

For every purchase & return we are charged 2.9% of the order cost + $0.30 by the credit card processor.
For cancellations we will deduct 5.8% + $0.60 from your refund. This is simply to cover what we are charged to complete & cancel a transaction.
We appreciate your understanding as a very small business who does not add many of the typical markups that are common in the industry. We made this decision in order to keep our prices relatively low in relation to the quality of material and time is takes to make everything by hand.
What if my items arrive damaged?

If the product is damaged during transit or is comprised within the standard 6-month freshness guarantee please do contact us as we will provide a replacement in those scenarios.
Do you ship internationally?

At this time we only provide International Shipping to Canada. We do offer flat rate shipping for all Canadian orders for $20. Packages are sent United States Postal Service (USPS) and may take up to 21 days. You would also be responsible for any taxes or VAT required by your country. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact us at hello@livebotanical.com.

When will I receive my order?

As a small operation, we generally fulfill orders every 2-3 business days. Most orders in the US are shipped USPS either first class (3 days) or priority shipping (2-3 days). If you’re concerned about turn around please note your order and will do our best to expedite. On average please allow 3-8 days to receive your product. During peak times like sales & holidays, it may take longer.
I'm experiencing shipping issues. What can I do?

- If the wrong address is provided at checkout and the package is undeliverable, then returned back to Live Botanical - we will charge shipping to have it resent (based on current USPS or UPS rates). Alternatively we can cancel the order and refund the amount paid less what Live Botanical paid for shipping.
- If the wrong address is provided and is not returned back to Live Botanical then the customer would need to work with USPS or UPS to file a claim.
- If the package takes longer than 10 business days due to USPS or UPS delays outside of Live Botanical’s control then the customer would need to file a claim with USPS or UPS. It’s rare this occurs and even more rare that packages are lost for good and they eventually make it to their destination. The only time we’ve seen this is during the holidays.
- If the package is truly lost or arrives damaged, please contact us so we can make a claim and resend the package.

What is the freshness/best by date?

Products should be used by the date noted on the bottom of each product carton. We note the month/year and batch number. Most products have a 10-18 month range. Though products can likely last much longer we find the potency best enjoyed within a year. If you have any questions please let us know.
All water based products use proper & complete preservation and challenge tested for safety.

FAQ's
Are your products gluten free?

None of our ingredients have gluten in them.
Our oats and rice are certified gluten-free but not all the ingredients we have are certified. Meaning they may have been around other products with gluten in them.
Our herbs that come from local farms don’t have facilities that are “gluten-free”. Unfortunately, the ingredients with these guarantees are very limited (especially working with small and local farms) and not always available to maintain the stock needed to keep the business going.
If you have a gluten intolerance, we feel good with the ingredients given the large molecular size is not absorbable in the skin, but from a liability standpoint, we are unable to have a gluten-free guarantee or certification.
Are your products pregnancy safe?

We have quite a few options to support your skin through the cycles of your pregnancy. We suggest our essential oil free products with the exception of the Exfoliating Serum & the Clarifying Elixir...

Do you offer a loyalty program?

We no longer offer a loyalty program. As of 11/25/20 there was compatibility issues with the Meadow Circle Loyalty Program that we were unable to reconcile. On March 5th, 2021 we sent an email on the details and provided equivalent discounts for the points earned prior to the issue (as all the data is stored securely).
