A hydrating, oil-free, and soap-free gel to gently cleanse without stripping or disrupting the skin's delicate acid mantle (pH approx. 5.5). Green tea and chamomile hydrosols along with cold-processed aloe tones the pores while allowing natural, healthy oil production - helping to maintain a fresh, hydrated complexion.

With congestion-prone and sensitive skin, harsh cleansers and over-exfoliation can cause long-term damage to the skin. Focusing on supporting your skin's inflammatory response will help reduce breakouts and prevent scarring when eruptions do occur.

Scent: Delicate and refreshing cup of herbal tea. Contains distilled plant waters from hydrosols of chamomile and green tea. No added essential oils.

Skin Types: Suitable for most, including sensitive and congestion-prone.

Texture: Lightweight gel with very little foaming.

Botanical Profile

Soothing, fresh-distilled hydrosols of chamomile and cold-processed aloe calm redness while mild astringents of green tea hydrosol work to strengthen pores but do not inhibit natural, healthy oil production.

Clarifying whole-plant extracts of meadowsweet, licorice, and willow bark elevate the blend to target active congestion within the sebaceous glands and reduce reactivity to provide comfort.

Collectively, a botanical-focused cleansing formula to maintain a clear, fresh, and hydrated complexion. 

Ritual

Thoroughly massage a quarter size of the product on wet skin paying attention to congested areas. The product rinses clean but some may find improved results when used with a washcloth to wipe away excess water-resistant makeup.

Complete the Routine

Developed to be used with an Elixir to enhance the cleansing experience and support better absorption of facial oils and serums.  To use, saturate a cotton pad and sweep the skin.

Light and Effective

A little too astringent for my normal, oily T-zone skin, even as a second cleanse, but I like to keep a small bottle on hand for hot summer days or after really sweaty workouts. I only use it in the T-zone. Not a product I could use on a daily basis but good to keep in the overall cleanser regime.

Love this!

This cleansing gel does wonders for my dry, sensitive skin! I use this as the second step in my evening double cleansing routine (my first step is Live Botanical’s Ritual Cleansing Balm—my absolute favorite). It cleans totally without drying my skin and its soothing and hydrating. I love it!

Soothing cleanser

This is a very gentle cleanser for my sensitive, reactive skin. I use it in the morning and for my second cleanse in the evening. My husband has also beeen using it and it has calmed his rosacea. I was worried it would dry my skin out, but it hasn’t at all. Very soothing for daily use.

Very gentle

I have very sensitive skin and this product is not bothering it. It also seems to be healing my milia bumps around my eyes. Live botanicals customer service was excellent getting back to me and educating that the barrier of my skin needs to be healed to help the sensitivity.
