Skin Repair Balm
Intention
An herbal formula developed to weave together a broad spectrum of constituents working collectively to soothe a host of concerns from skincare to first-aid. An all-in-one balm that has rich inflammation modulation, astringent and antiseptic properties.
Uses: locks in moisture, limits breakouts, softens dry patches, lessens scarring, and calms rashes, razor burns, sunburns, cuts, bug bites, etc...
Yarrow is a classic herb that is highly astringent to help reduce bleeding and provide general wound care. It is a potent modulator of inflammation to help abrasions. The antiseptic properties clean the skin to limit infection and breakouts.
Ethically wildcrafted usnea is the long-haired looking lichen that you see on trees. Added to soothe further and disinfect the skin.
Supercritical extracts of frankincense and myrrh (Co2) and immortelle essential oil calms irritations, increases circulation, and lessens scarring.
Calendula was added as a general skin tonic. Known to fight infection, protect skin from free radicals, soothe redness, calm breakouts, and increase circulation.
Lavender essential oil works with other botanicals to further clean and clear the skin.
Cold-pressed camelina (false flax) seed oil is an ancient oil that is one of the highest sources of Omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for proper skin balance and to protect the lipid barrier. The inflammation modulation properties help reduce sensitivity; in particular, it will help lessen the redness and dryness caused by common skin reactions.
Infused in unrefined sunflower seed oil and locally sourced raw beeswax to nourish, protect and moisturize the skin without clogging pores.
Overnight mask: the last step in your skincare routine. Apply to damp skin to lock in moisture and allow calming properties to slowly absorb through the night.
To Repair: dab a small amount to a cleaned cut, bite, rash, burn, or breakout.
