Effervescent cellular water from live plants. Vibrational hydro distillation - where the four elements of fire, water, earth, and air come together in an alchemical dance - is said to capture the ancient intelligence & memories of the flower and herb used.
We've always found comfort in knowing that the way plants communicate is not linear or really something we can fully comprehend - and love the idea of water being a pathway to opening this intuitive connection with the plants.
Every selected Hydrosol is enhanced with soothing oats, hydrating tamarind seed extract, and nutrient-dense nettle, horsetail, and yucca leaf.

Floral and soothing, like relaxing in an herbal garden.
Hydrosols are a staple in herbal skincare to incorporate water-soluble compounds such as trace aromatic compounds and biological acids. Resulting in a base that’s perfect for balancing the skin's pH, incorporating hydration, and improving the absorption of plant compounds from follow up steps such as facial and body oils.
Based on recent studies, Tamarind Seed Extract (TSE) has shown parallels between Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and could outperform HA in skin moisturization and the ability to visibly soften. TSE is sustainably harvested and uses the by-product of dried seeds from the fruit. It is rich in a special class of polysaccharides (long sugar molecules) called xyoglucans. This helps bind water molecules to the skin in a gentle bioavailable way.
Oats are an herbalist's favorite ingredient to soothe irritated skin. It can also help maintain moisture when paired with other humectants.
Nettles, Horsetail, and Yucca provide a menagerie of rich nutrients and minerals including Vitamins B and C, iron, copper, manganese, silicium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and manganese, as well it contains phytosterols, bioflavonoids, saponins, phenolic and caffeic acids, alkaloids and tannins.
- Minerals help to feed the skin and balance the acid mantle to better manage environmental stressors.
- Phytosterols support the health of a strong lipid barrier helping to maintain hydration naturally.
- Bioflavonoids/Phenolic compounds like ursolic acid and quercetin have an inhibitory effect on elastase and collagenase activities. In short, slowing down the enzymes that cause the break in the peptide bonds of collagen - helping to strengthen the elasticity in the skin. This extends into lessening the breakdown of vitamins in the skin such as Vitamin C.
- Saponins help cleanse and clarify the skin. Allowing this mist to not only be used as a hydrating element before your facial oil and/or balm, but also a gentle morning cleanse with the use of a cotton round or cloth.
Wild Pansy, also called Heart's Ease, is the owners' favorite flower essence. Helping to uplift the heart and strengthen our emotional intelligence from the heaviness of the world.
Hydrate: Mist the face generously to saturate the skin. Follow up with a facial oil and/or balm of choice to seal in the hydration.
Cleanse: For a very mild cleanse when not removing makeup or sunscreen (such as in the morning), mist a cotton round or cloth and sweep the face. This is a great option for those with a more sensitive lipid barrier that causes extreme dryness. When removing makeup and/or sunscreen, using the Nourishing Cleansing Oil at night is a good option.
