A unique aromatic blend inspired by dark winter forests. Bright green ferns tucked away on moss-covered branches of large maples. Lush cedars that dance wildly in stormy weather. Miles of towering evergreens covered in snow.
The complex scent profile invites you to journey beyond the unconscious, outside ourselves, into realms of mystery. Relishing in the quietest of days before the excitement of the first signs of spring.
The initial notes are bright evergreens with hints of citrus and subtle herbaceous undertones that dries down to a soft, soul centering earthy base of new wood growth and crushed green leaves.
Note: sensitive to heat due to the plant butters. Place in the fridge for 20-30 mins if melted during transit, once cooled down it will remain firm at room temperature.
Tiny mugwort flowers & wild violets growing in our garden were extracted using dual methods of oil infusion and copper distilled essential oil. It’s then deepened with the addition of violet leaf absolute. This slow and methodical process creates a beautifully nuanced, lush green aroma.
Carefully harvested resins of Pinon Pine from New Mexico and Sitka Spruce from Iceland. Both were crafted by small artisans for one-of-a-kind, true to life aromatic oils.
A delicate varietal of Lavender named Lavandula 'Melissa' where the color ranges from a soft white to faint pink and carries an exquisitely sweet and floral scent. Harvested locally where the essential oil was created in-house using our copper distiller.
A very special 10-year+ aged patchouli from the owners' personal collection and reserved for special occasions. The multifaceted and grounding scent helps anchor the entire blend.
Himalayan Cedar lends woodsy sweetness to bring warmth and comfort. We source through a partner who purchases directly from the producers in India, ensuring fair wages.
Lastly, soothing green tea plus skin mending extracts of comfrey and hops from our garden extend this aromatic concoction to support overall skin vitality.
This soft pressed oil is applied to your neck, wrists, arms, and ends of hair to provide a light fragrance that wears close to the skin. To be applied as needed for a moment of escape from the mundane or chaotic part of your day.
- As a fragrance, be sure to massage in until the green hue is absorbed. We find applying to hydrated skin makes the scent longer or applying to the forearms as scent holds on to hair better :) We anticipate the dry down scent to last around 1-2 hours. Though in testing we were able to still pick up on the more earthy notes 6 hours later.
- In meditation, take the balm and warm it in the palms of your hand. Inhale deeply, bringing in the scent, letting it fill the mind. Take the oil from your hands and massage the neck and shoulders.
- To repair, the skin mending whole plant infusions transcend this blend from a plant perfume to a healing salve. Making it a useful addition to soothing chapped, dry and injured skin.
